The base of every balm. Its fatty-acid profile closely mirrors the lipids in human skin, so it sinks in rather than sitting on top. Grass-fed and grass-finished — never grain-finished.
Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil*
Organic cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil
Cold-pressed, certified organic. It softens the balm to a texture you can warm between your fingertips and adds a light, non-greasy slip.
Boswellia Carterii (Frankincense) Oil*
Organic frankincense essential oil
A few drops, for a warm resinous aroma that makes the ritual feel like one. Used here at a gentle cosmetic level.
Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil*
Organic lavender essential oil
Soft, herbaceous and calming rather than sharp. It is what makes Reverence an evening balm.
