The Reverence Face Balm is the evening balm. Grass-fed and grass-finished beef tallow, whipped with olive oil and a few drops of lavender. It is for anyone who wants the last step of the day to smell like the end of the day.

Tallow carries fatty acids your skin already recognizes, so it settles in rather than sitting on top. Olive oil loosens the texture and gives it slip. Lavender is there for its scent, and we claim nothing for it beyond that. There is no water in the jar, so there is nothing to preserve. No fragrance oil, no filler, no emulsifier.

It is firm in the jar and turns to oil as you warm it. It absorbs within minutes and leaves skin soft rather than filmed. The scent is a soft lavender note that fades within the hour.

The method is small. Warm a pea-sized amount between your fingertips until it turns to oil. Press, do not rub, into clean, slightly damp skin, face and neck. Dry patches can take a second pea. Use it at night, after cleansing, as the last thing before the light goes off. Patch test on the inner forearm first, as with anything new.

1.7 oz is about a year of nightly use. 0.5 oz is about three months, the introduction.

If your skin is dry, or you have started to notice the look of fine lines, the Regenerative Face Balm, with frankincense, is the one most people choose first. If any essential oil bothers your skin, or you want no scent at all, choose the Pure Face Balm: the same tallow and olive oil with nothing added.

THE LEDGER

THE ENTIRE ingredient list

Three lines. No water, so no preservatives. No emulsifiers, no fragrance blends, no fillers. If it is not on this list, it is not in the jar.

01

Grass-fed beef tallow

100% grass-fed and finished, rendered slowly and filtered until it is clean, pale, and nearly scentless. Rich in the same fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins your skin barrier is built from.

02

Organic olive oil

Certified organic, cold-pressed, extra virgin. It gives the balm its slip so a pea-sized amount spreads thin, and it brings antioxidants that protect the lipids once they are on your skin.

03

One essential oil, or none

Frankincense in Regenerative. Lavender in Reverence. Nothing at all in Pure. Each one is organic, each one is there for a reason, and none of them is covering anything up.
